SiriusXM's Channel Makeover: Alt 2K & Message Worship for All
SiriusXM has shaken things up with a minor channel lineup revamp, bringing some exciting changes to its listeners. One of the key moves is the temporary relocation of 2000s Alternative music channel, Alt 2K, to a broader audience. This channel, dedicated to the sounds of the early 2000s, will now be more accessible, moving from channel 313 to channel 14, the space previously occupied by TikTok Radio, which ended its run in November. This shift means more listeners can enjoy the music that defined a generation.
In a similar vein, Mellow Classic Rock channel, The Bridge, is moving from channel 27 to channel 14, creating space for Alt 2K's expansion. This reorganization also introduces a new channel, Message Worship, dedicated to contemporary worship music, launching on channel 68. This channel is an extension of The Message, a Christian AC channel, and will now be available on channel 68, while New Age channel The Spa moves to streaming-only on channel 746.
Additionally, the changes include a rebranding of the Kids channel, Moonbug Radio, which is now known as CoComelon & Friends, bringing a beloved animated series to a wider audience. These adjustments reflect SiriusXM's commitment to offering diverse and engaging content to its listeners, ensuring there's something for everyone on the airwaves.
